Accreditation Update

WICS is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ACSI is the largest international accreditation agency for Christian education with 24,000 affiliated schools in 103 countries. Japan’s Ministry of Education (MEXT) officially recognizes ACSI accreditation.

April 6-8, 2026: an ACSI representative visited to assess WICS for ACSI accreditation candidacy.

June 1, 2026: ACSI officially granted WICS candidate school status.

Future Action Plans

Autumn 2027 (tentative): an ACSI representative visits WICS to assess the school’s readiness for full accreditation.

Spring 2028 (tentative): an ACSI team visits to assess WICS for full accreditation.

Summer 2028 (tentative): WICS receives ACSI’s full accreditation—with God’s help.
