PRIMARY SCHOOL

At WICS Primary School, we focus on meeting our students' needs with a Christian-based education. We use the BJU curriculum to teach key subjects: English, Math, Bible, Social Studies, and Science. Classes are taught by enthusiastic native English speakers. Since we are in Japan, students also take Japanese language classes, tailored to their skill levels, to help them engage with Japanese culture and improve their literacy.

Students participate in music, physical education, cooking, and art classes every week. The whole school gathers for a lively chapel service once a week, where students can worship, sing, dance, listen to Bible messages, and learn Bible verses. We also offer two Bible classes weekly to support our students' spiritual growth and help them develop a Biblical worldview.

Additionally, every student has access to an online Raz-Kids account with hundreds of leveled books. This program supports reading, tracks progress for teachers and parents, and encourages kids with fun incentives to foster a love of reading. The program has proved to effectively enhance reading and comprehension skills, especially for ESL students.
