Middle School
Middle school at WICS is a time for exploration, growth, and skill development in a supportive, Christian environment. Students build confidence, critical thinking, and academic abilities, preparing for high school. Through Biblical guidance, WICS fosters spiritual growth, character, and moral responsibility, with active parental involvement ensuring a strong home-school partnership.

High School
High school at WICS prepares students for academic excellence and future success at top universities worldwide, including in the U.S., Canada, Australia, China, Korea, and Japan. Students refine their writing, research, and leadership skills while deepening their faith and personal development. Leadership roles, community involvement, and service projects foster responsible, compassionate Christians. WICS takes a holistic approach to education, nurturing intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional growth with strong parental support as students prepare for higher education and beyond.

Academics
Core Subjects

Our Bible curriculum covers a survey of the Old Testament and New Testament in Middle School, whereas the High School students learn the fundamental Biblical teachings and Christian doctrines.

In Middle School, the students learn both English language (grammar & writing) and the fundamentals of literature to prepare them for studies of American, British, and World literature in High School.

The math lessons include fundamentals of mathematics for Middle School and Algebra, Geometry as well as Pre-calculus for High School.

The students learn the three major subdisciplines of science; i.e., biology, chemistry, and physics.

WICS Social Studies curriculum is based in the United States (i.e., American Republic and U.S. History) while still covering world history. A Japanese history class is also taught in Grade 11.

The philosophy class aims to cultivate critical thinking, analytical skill, and the ability to form well-reasoned arguments by questioning about themselves, the world, and values.

Japanese language is a compulsory course throughout Grade 6 to 10. In addition to that, the middle school students also learn Chinese language.
Other Subjects

In art class, students learn how to sketch and draw.

The middle schoolers learn basic computer skills such as 10-finger typing, Google workspace, and video editing. As for the computer science classes in high school, the students learn HTML, CSS, and Python.

In music classes, students learn music theory, singing, and major in the learning of one music instrument.

In physical education, students are taught physical health and fitness, as well as sports skills in a progressive manner.

In this class, students learn how to speak in front of others clearly and with confidence.

In this class, students learn the basics of news writing and creating layouts. They also work together to write and design the school’s yearbook.

Metacognition is a course where students learn about how they learn in order to monitor and evaluate their studies, regulate emotions for learning, and learn and apply strategies to accomplish their goals.
AP Courses and Test Preparation

The students have AP Statistics as one of their math course choices in their final year (Grade 12). This course prepares them not only for the College Board AP Test but also more advanced statistics courses they wish to take in college.

This course teaches about national and global economies and how they work. It also prepares students for the AP Macroeconomics test by College Board.

The students are prepared for the the math section of the SAT

This course prepares students for TOEFL. The students usually take this course in Grades 9, 10, and 11.
