All Teachers (教師)

Because WICS is a faith-based institution, all teachers must be born-again Christians with membership in a Protestant church. Applicants should also have a passion for mission in Japan.

WICSは、信仰に固く立った教育機関であるため、すべての教師は、プロテスタント教会のメンバーであり、洗礼を受けたクリスチャンでなければなりません。また、日本での宣教に情熱を持っていることが求められます。

Full-Time Teachers (正社員)

Responsibilities (職務)
Instruction 20-25 hours per week (8:30am-3:35pm; Mon-Fri)

週20-25時間　（月曜日から金曜日　午前8時30分から午後3時35分まで)

  1. Teach for 45-minute intervals in a classroom setting (１コマ45分間の授業を受け持つ。)

Administration 10-15 hours per week (8:15am-5:30pm; Mon-Fri)

事務　週10-15時間 （月曜日から金曜日　午前8時15分から午後5時30分まで)

  1. Prepare and post weekly lesson plans

    毎週、授業計画を作成し、投稿する。

  2. Create professional materials (core curriculum provided by the school)

    プロフェッショナルな資料を作成する。（学校が提供するコアカリキュラム）

  3. Participate in staff meetings

    スタッフミーティングに出席する。

  4. Perform other duties as needed

    必要に応じて、その他の業務を遂行する。


Required Qualifications (必要条件)

  1. Native-level English proficiency

    ネイティブレベルの英語力

  2. Bachelor's degree earned from an accredited English-language college/university (relevant field preferred)

    英語圏の認定大学による学士号（関連分野が望ましい。）

  3. Positive experiences working with and managing children—summer camp, Sunday school, etc.

    子どもと積極的に関わる職務経験ーサマーキャンプ、日曜学校など。）


Preferred Qualifications (好ましい条件)

  1. Teaching certification

    教員免許

  2. Teaching experience in a classroom setting 

    教室での教員経験 

  3. Extracurricular experience—sports experience, musical training, drama, dance, student government, club membership, language clubs, etc.

    課外活動ースポーツ、音楽、演劇、ダンス、学生自治会、クラブメンバーシップ、言語クラブなど。

Part-Time Teachers (パートタイム教師)

Instruction less than 20 hours per week (8:30am-3:35pm; Mon-Fri)

Depending on the total number of instructional hours, WICS may provide medical insurance to some part-time employees.
